MSSPP Gets a New Playground

Because of grants from Guardian Trust, ‪#‎CarCreditCares‬ (part of Car Credit of Tampa), Publix Super Markets Charities, Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club and parent fundraising and a little hard work, a new playground was installed at Morning Star School last week. We are MIGHTILY BLESSED! The students were so happy and excited to get out there on the new equipment. Thank you to Wayne Armand of Project Innovations Inc. for putting together a wonderful play area for the kids. Their smiling faces and words of gratitude make everything worth it.

Seminole and Sunrise Lanes Love our Students

Cory Krauss of Seminole and Sunrise Lanes stopped by our school offices with a check for $5,000. What an awesome way to kick-off the school year.  Thank you for your deep commitment to our students and our mission.  In addition, we are so pleased to be continuing our tradition of bowling field trips to Seminole Lanes this year.  Thank you for your help in making this happen. The children love bowling at Seminole Lanes!

The 2014 Auction is Right Around the Corner!

2014 Auction Fundraiser Save-the-Date:  November 8, 2014

The auction is just a few weeks away!  The 2013 Auction was our most successful fundraiser to date with final grosses totaling over $30,000.  It is by far Morning Star’s biggest fundraiser and profits go directly back to the children of Morning Star.   Annual tuition per student would be over $17,000 per year without all of our fundraising efforts!  And we cannot have a successful event without YOU!

It is an exciting evening that includes a delicious dinner catered by Da Sesto Italiano Ristorante e Vino, a silent auction and a live auction.  Auction items this year include dining at The Birchwood, Disney Hopper passes, a Neiman Marcus gift basket, museum passes, theater tickets, gift cards to favorite dining & shopping destinations & more. It’s a great time for a great cause!
