Catholic Schools Week Schedule:  January 27-31, 2014

Monday, January 27th:  MIX IT UP MONDAY
No uniforms today!  Put together your best mis-matched outfit to wear to school.

Tuesday, January 28th:  ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE
All classes will be collecting the following items for the St. Pete Free Clinic.  Students, please bring your donations to class:

  • shampoo
  • bath soap
  • deodorant
  • toothpaste & toothbrushes
  • razors
  • peanut butter
  • canned beans
  • canned meat
  • Ramen noodles

1:30pm: Ice Cream Sundae Thank-You Bar for the Students —YUM!


Wednesday, January 29th:  FAMILY DAY
9:00 – 10:00am:     Parents & Grandparents are invited to attend Mass at Sacred Heart Church
10:00am:                  After Mass, families are invited for coffee & doughnuts in the OTHERS Hall while the students go back to class.
10:45am-11:15am: Please join us for a musical performance by the students in the OTHERS Hall.
11:30am:                   Parents & Grandparents are invited to bring lunch in for their students for a picnic on the playground.


Thursday, January 30th:  SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY
Students may wear their PE shirts & jeans.  Those students participating in the Modern Woodmen Speech Contest may bring their PE shirts & jeans to change into for the Field Day Activities.
9:30am:     Modern Woodmen Speech Contest in the OTHERS Hall;  Parents are welcome to attend.
12:30pm:       Field Day Activities for all students.
Friday, January 31th:  FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM DAY
Students may wear their favorite sports team T-shirt or hat.
8:00am:   Teachers will make a pancake breakfast for the students.
12:00pm:   BOWLING FIELD TRIP @ Seminole Lanes for Mrs. Steele’s, Mrs. A’s & Mrs. Reffett’s classes!
12:30pm:   PAJAMA AFTERNOON for Mrs. Lazar’s, Mrs. Castaneda’s & Mrs. Hill’s classes!  The kids may bring comfy flannel pajamas or sweat pants to change into after lunch.  Bring a favorite blanket, stuffed animal, sleeping bag or book and snuggle in for an afternoon of watching movies, reading books, making popcorn & s’mores.  As an extra treat, Bess the Book Bus will be making a stop at the school so the kids in Rooms 4-6 may pick out a free book!  Thank you Bess!
