Advancement

The Office of Advancement concentrates on securing funds to supplement the operational expenses of the school in addition to creating partnerships and support within the local community. The office works with Home and School in organizing and planning events. Responsibilities of the Director of Advancement also include grant writing, annual appeal,
golf tournament, and public relations.

Tuition alone does not fully cover the cost of the school's operating expenses. Morning Star School is dependant upon a subsidy from the Diocese of St. Petersburg, the generosity of our booster group O.T.H.E.R.S. (Opportunity To Help Educate Receptive Students), fundraisers, and philanthropic support from the community.

The goal of the Advancement Office is to acquire the funds nececessary to continue the unique educational program at Morning Star. These funds allow the students the opportunity to develop their abilities. In turn, the acquisition of these abilities permit them to become productive citizens in society. The support of interested parties is vital in maintaining a quality academic program.

The Lord has given each of us talents and treasures which are meant to be shared. Please consider sharing your gifts with Morning Star School.
